“ I met 2 friends here for lunch today and we were greeted by a female host in Spanish. 2 of us don't speak it but lucky my other friend did. Actually the lady who brought over the chips and salsa did as well. Finally the server came over...he spoke Spanish too but quickly switched to English for us all. He was nice, friendly. Took our order which only took about 10 minutes. I had the steak taco salad which was good. The chips and salsa were good 2. Nice decor. Place was moderately busy. We thought the server would bring the check but u have to go to the counter to pay. The automatically speaking Spanish and going to counter to pay costed a star, otherwise a decent visit. ”

“ I don't know why this place has such negative reviews. I've heard nothing but great things about the carne asada here and they were absolutely true. We stopped by around lunch on a Sunday, found a seat immediately, and had our food super fast. Our waitress was so sweet and got us everything we needed quickly. The carne asada was better than any carne asada I've had in SoCal, and the tacos were LOADED. Is $4 for a taco pretty steep? Maybe. But it's not the most expensive taco I've ever had but it was by far the best. Will definitely be coming back in future Chicago trips. ”
